Drug Delivery Postdoctoral Position at Georgia Tech
A postdoctoral position is available in the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering with Professor Julie Champion. This research, funded by the Curci Foundation and the NIH, involves developing self-assembled protein nanocarriers for intracellular delivery of therapeutic proteins, including intracellular antibodies. Intracellular antibody delivery will enable a host of new therapeutic applications including for Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and many others. This project will incorporate recombinant protein design and production, in vitro functional assays, and in vivo therapeutic models. Dr. Champion’s lab is located in a brand new interdisciplinary building, the Engineering Biosystems Building at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. This environment will provide a dynamic and collaborative postdoc experience.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field. In vivo experience is highly desired.
To apply, please email a cover letter describing your research interests, a CV, and a list of three references to Dr. Champion (email@example.com). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
